About Feed The Need

The most recent government data shows that 50.4 million people (16%) are in poverty, including 17 million children (33%) under the age of 18. 41.2 million people, including 6.5 million children, live in households that lack the means to get enough nutritious food on a regular basis. As a result, they struggle with hunger at some time during the year. Feed the Need is partnering with Midwest Food Bank to bring food access to hundreds of Indianapolis families on a monthly basis.

How Does It Work?

Families are able to pick up groceries on the second Saturday of each month at Church 52 (8220 Brookville Rd. Indianapolis, 46239) between the hours of 10am and 1pm.

If you are interested in receiving groceries, simply fill out the form below and a representative from Empowering Indy will contact you with more details.
